VOLUME ONE

June 1942, Issues #1 to 4

World War II is at its darkest hour. Travelling the world under the cover of a concert tour, Josephine and her elite spy team are tasked with gathering intelligence to rescue nearly 200 French prisoners of war before they are delivered to Nazi Germany. But when a pirate attack, a ruthless warlord, and a shocking betrayal threaten to destroy the mission, Josephine must abandon the original plan and lead a daring rescue behind enemy lines.

As deception, espionage, and explosive action unfold, Josephine refuses to leave anyone behind, even if it means defying orders and risking everything to save one of her own.

Chapter 1: Pirates and the Palace

June 1942. Josephine travels by boat with her band and her secret team to Casablanca for two nights of live performance, hosted by a warlord who has seized control of the city and is holding nearly 200 French POWs, intending to hand them to the Nazi government in exchange for diplomatic recognition. The team's goal is to collect intelligence for a French Navy extraction two days after the band departs. Then pirates attack the boat hours from shore, and at dinner with the warlord Josephine's mole reveals that the Nazis are arriving early, forcing a drastic change of plan.
